ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A delivery driver in Orlando filed a lawsuit on Monday after being attacked by a dog at a local business last year, according to court records.

The lawsuit says the driver — identified as Terrance Harrison — was delivering a package to Eagle Copier Solutions on Feb. 17, 2023.

During the delivery, a “large dog” came out of the building and bit down on Harrison’s leg, puncturing the shin, the lawsuit shows.

“There were no signs warning guests that a dog was present on the premises, and (Harrison) had no way of anticipating that (Eagle Copier Solutions) had a dog present,” the lawsuit reads.

As a result, Harrison is accusing the company of negligence.

He is seeking over $30,000 in damages due to “bodily injury, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life and expenses for medical treatment.”

The full lawsuit has been attached and can be read in the media viewer below.
