ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando was one of the two U.S. cities featured on the newest season of Netflix’s “Somebody Feed Phil.”
Philip Rosenthal, of “Everybody Loves Raymond” fame, created the show back in 2018. Rosenthal takes viewers to different cities, each episode highlighting the different cuisine it offers. He is often joined by friends, family or strangers at each stop.

The show’s seventh season debuted on March 1 and has an episode called “The Real Orlando,” showcasing what the city has to offer besides theme parks.
Here’s where he went:
- Black Bee Honey: Parramore-based youth group with a goal to teach kids how to run a business and address the food desert issue in the community. It serves different kinds of honey such as orange blossom or wildflower.
- Capa: Michelin-starred restaurant in a resort, this spot is known for its signature dish – a 32-ounce porterhouse steak.
- Crocante: This is a Puerto Rican spot that features porchetta and mofongo. It is located off East Colonial Drive.
- East End Market: This food hall in the Audubon Park Garden District has more than 10 different eateries which serve a variety of cuisines from Japanese rice desserts to classic backyard BBQ.
- Kook’n With Kim: Located in Eatonville, this soul food restaurant serves pork chop, chicken, collard greens and more.
- Se7en Bites: This is not the first time this restaurant has been featured on T.V. as Guy Fieri shot a couple episodes with this eatery. It specializes in comfort food with a modern twist.
- Sampaguita: This Filipino sweet treat shop opened in early 2023 and serves unique flavors of ice cream such as soy sauce butterscotch and jackfruit chili nut.
- Tien Hung Oriental Market: This grocery store in the Mills 50 district also has a service counter that offers fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner.
