Investigators said Green and the two brothers were all in a Dodge Challenger that blocked in a Rav 4 at the apartment complex. After blocking the SUV’s exit, police said Kemarius Wilson and Green approached the Rav 4 with guns.

Officers said the 23-year-old passenger of the SUV was also armed, and there was an exchange of gunfire, which injured the man and killed the 3-year-old. The two men then got back into the Challenger and took off.

It is not clear whether Demarius Wilson was in the Challenger at the time of the shooting, but officers said he was in the vehicle before and after the exchange of gunfire and also helped to hide the vehicle.

Kemarius Wilson was later dropped off at Lakeland Regional Hospital where he was pronounced deceased.

Green faces two counts of first-degree murder, shooting into an occupied vehicle and attempted first-degree murder.

Demarius Wilson faces a charge of tampering with evidence.

Anyone with information on either man’s whereabouts is asked to call Lakeland police at 863-834-6900 or Crimestoppers at 1-888-400-8477.
