MARION COUNTY, Fla. – The Marion County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public to help identify three people accused of breaking into a home over the weekend and stealing a rifle.

The burglary occurred Sunday, March 17, at a home in the 17000 block of SW 115th Lane in Dunnellon, the sheriff’s office said on social media.

Investigators said the three people smashed a glass door and began going through the victim’s belongings when they were interrupted by alarms and ran away with a rifle they found inside.

They then made their getaway in a white SUV that was waiting for them, according to the sheriff’s office.
