2 arrested after man dies in Orange County shooting

Deputies respond to Speedway along South Orange Blossom Trail

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – A man in his 30s died after being shot Friday night in Orange County, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies responded around 9:20 p.m. to 9520 S. Orange Blossom Trail, the address of a Speedway location, where they located the injured man.

The man — identified as Carlos Henry Bethel, 36 — was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, the sheriff’s office said in a statement.

Two men were later arrested in connection with the shooting, the sheriff’s office said on April 15.

Isaiah Micah Holligan, 26, and Jonathan Logan Strickland, 24, were both arrested.

Holligan faces a charge of first-degree murder with a firearm, and Strickland faces a murder charge.

An investigation of the shooting is said to be ongoing.
