ORLANDO, Fla. – An Orlando food hall is being sued by its landlord and faces eviction, according to court records found by News 6.
The Hall on the Yard in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village opened in 2022 with nine food stalls, plus three cocktail bars, and was billed as “the world’s first full-service food hall,” according to the company’s website.

But according to the complaint filed by the hall’s landlord, Ivanhoe Place Propco, The Hall on the Yard’s parent company filed for bankruptcy protection in July 2023, and as part of its reorganization plan was supposed to continue to pay rent, which did not happen even after notices were served.
The suit claims the hall owes $249,105.16 in rent, plus utilities.
Ivanhoe Place Propco is suing not only The Hall but also some of the businesses that called the hall home.
The Hall on the Yard was supposed to open in fall 2020 but was delayed due to construction material shortages. It was meant to be one of five food halls around the country.
