SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. – A man wanted in a fatal drive-by shooting last year in Seminole County that stemmed from a dispute between rappers has been arrested, according to jail records.

Trevon Law, 25, was arrested Thursday on multiple charges, including first-degree murder and attempted first-degree murder.

The shooting happened on Jan. 16, 2023, after a Jackboy concert at The Barn in Sanford when Jackboy’s entourage was heading back to Orlando. Deputies said they saw multiple gunshots fired from a four-door vehicle at one of the vans in the entourage.

The drive-by shooting killed Princess Tolliver and injured five others.

According to a master affidavit, three suspects were in gray Hyundai Sante Fe, including Law in the rear driver’s side seat.

The state attorney’s office said in a previous news release that the drive-by was a “botched attempt to kill” Jackboy. Sheriff’s officials also said the shooting was believed to stem from a high-profile dispute with rapper Kodak Black.

His arrest comes months after Seminole County Sheriff Dennis Lemma announced 13 arrests in the investigation:

  • Alvarez Cosby
  • Darling Siplin
  • Thallas Inman
  • Quardarius Holley
  • Robin Hickmon
  • Ryquaries Davis
  • Rovonte Daniels
  • Valarie Smith
  • Daneka Hair
  • Jah’ Michael Wright
  • John Williams
  • Trayvon Whittaker
  • Ja-Quan Watson

“Those arrested in this investigation are members of a criminal street gang known as OTF — On Top Forever — with a known presence in Seminole County,” Lemma said during a February news conference. “OTF is a known subset of the national gangsters murder Crips street gang.”

In addition to attempted first-degree murder and first-degree murder, Law faces charges of unlawful use of a two-way communication device and racketeering.
