ORLANDO, Fla. – Orlando Magic fans streamed out of the Kia Center Friday night after Game Six with sheer joy.
The team played a must-win Game Six in their series against the Cleveland Cavaliers, coming out on top with a score of 103-96.
Thousands of fans walked along Church Street.
“I’ve been a Magic fan my whole life. I think the last time they won a playoff series was almost 12 years ago, and as you can tell, the environment is insane. When people think of Orlando, they don’t think of a sports town, but it is electric, that’s all I can,” fan Harrison Hall said.
“It was great. The Magic are going to win the Game 7 and go on to play Boston. What does it mean to you to have the Magic go this far? It feels good to see them go this far for such a young team, so hopefully, they will be able to sustain and take it into the future,” fan Steven Burbage said.
For the next game, fans expressed concern for the team’s track record on the road.
“I’m so excited. Game 7 is going to be great. Not that great on the road, but hopefully we can get that done,” said fan Mike Taback.
