According to an arrest report, Vahreion Thequanzo Kirkman, 18, and another man were visiting a friend on the night of the shooting who lived at the apartment complex when they made contact with Loredo via Snapchat looking to buy a THC cartridge.

Upon meeting with the victim in his parked vehicle, money was handed over to Loredo, who reached over to grab the cartridge, the report states. Police say that’s when Kirkman pulled out a gun and pointed at the victim, saying, “Give me your (expletive).”
When Loredo attempted to drive away, police say that’s when Kirkman shot at the victim.
Detectives obtained pool video surveillance showing the three men walking and then running through the complex. One witness also told police he heard what he thought was a gunshot and saw three men running from near the front of the complex toward the pavilion.
According to the report, fake money was used to buy the THC and police were then able to match Kirkman’s fingerprint with one left on a replica $20 bill.
Kirkman was charged with first-degree felony murder and robbery with a firearm. He made his first court appearance on Wednesday and is in the Brevard County Jail on no bond.
