ORLANDO, Fla. – Just a few weeks after the Hall on the Yard in Ivanhoe Village unceremoniously shuttered, a new food hall is set to take its place.

City Food Hall will be taking over the 12,550-square-foot food hall located at 1412 Alden Road, according to a news release.

City Food Hall already has two Florida locations, one in Destin and the other in West Palm Beach. In addition to Orlando, locations are also planned for Gainesville and Athens, Georgia.

Once the takeover is complete, the food hall will feature 10 food stalls, and indoor golf suites will be installed, the release said. It will also feature private event spaces and have an extensive entertainment and event schedule, the company said.

No opening date has been set for City Food Hall. The company is now accepting applications for vendors and staff. Those interested are asked to visit the company’s website.

The announcement comes after the Hall on the Yard closed in April. The Hall first opened in November 2021, but in April court documents showed the food hall was facing a lawsuit and eviction for unpaid rent and bills totaling nearly $250,000.
