‘Summer of the Fairies:’ Orlando’s Leu Gardens offers ‘whimsical’ activities, after-hours events

Live music, fairy adventures and more start this summer

ORLANDO, Fla. – It’s the “summer of the fairies” at Orlando’s Leu Gardens!

From Fairy Doors to after-hours entertainment, the gardens promise a “whimsical summer adventure” for all.

Starting Saturday, June 8, through Aug. 25, you’ll be able to explore the world of fairies with the favorite Fairy Doors event.

“You’ll find 20 doors that lead to the homes of our garden fairies, each with whimsical and unique design made especially for each fairies’ personality. Enjoy the make believe world of each fairy as you search for their own special door,” the event’s website reads.

Fairy Doors is included with general admission.

There will also be Fairy Nights on June 21, July 19 and Aug. 16.

On these select nights, you can dress up in your fairy attire, make art creations at different fairy landings and even meet some fairies.

This is a ticketed event. Adults can get in for $20, children 4-17 can get in for $15 and children under 3 get in for free.

And then, there will be After Hours in the Gardens starting Thursday, June 6, through Aug. 29.

This event on Thursday evenings is included with general admission. Live music runs 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Here’s who is performing and when:

  • Don Soledad = June 9, July 11 and Aug. 1
  • Jose Rodriguez = June 13, July 4 and Aug. 8
  • Bryan May = June 20, July 18 and Aug. 15
  • Andre Santana = June 27, July 25 and Aug. 22
  • Thomas Lopez = Aug. 29
