The shooting on Saturday led to deputies swarming the area of the 2400 block of Bronco Drive, near St. Cloud, where Miller is accused of shooting Beck and running away. Miller was located Sunday at a different residence — along Nolte Road in St. Cloud — where he was arrested via warrant, the sheriff’s office said.

Miller’s arrest warrant, along with the relevant affidavit and a separate charging affidavit, are among the latest documents released in the case. The affidavit for Miller’s arrest warrant describes how deputies responding to Bronco Drive were able to contact Miller’s mother, who provided investigators with surveillance footage showing the shooting in full.

In the footage, Miller can allegedly be seen walking toward Beck’s truck — parked in the driveway — in an aggressive manner, doing so while holding an object in his hand. As Beck sat in the driver’s seat of the truck, Miller kicks open the truck’s passenger door, positioning himself between the door and Beck as he can be heard yelling at Beck while pointing a gun right at him, the affidavit states. During this, Miller can reportedly be seen reaching into the vehicle and hitting Beck twice with the gun moments before a single shot is heard, according to the affidavit. After the gunshot, Miller runs into a shed toward the rear of the property and is seen allegedly seen wiping an object with a towel, removing his T-shirt and running out of the shed empty-handed into a wooded area.

Responding deputies noted Beck appeared to have suffered one gunshot wound to his abdomen, as well as an abrasion to the left side of his head. The deputies tried to aid Beck, who was hospitalized and later pronounced dead at 2:19 p.m., investigators said.

At a news conference on Monday, Sheriff Marcos Lopez described the surveillance video, though it was not mentioned at the time that Miller’s mother had provided it. Describing the video, Lopez said that Miller had yelled, “Where’s my pool pump?

Tips from the public played a role in Miller’s location and subsequent arrest Sunday morning, according to Lopez, who claimed Miller confessed to the shooting. Beck was a father of three, Lopez said.

Members of Beck’s family have set up a GoFundMe in his memory, which can be found here.
