Silver Alert canceled after 86-year-old Sumter County woman found safe

SUMTER COUNTY, Fla. – A Silver Alert has been canceled after a missing 86-year-old Sumter County woman was located safe, according to the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office.

Gerda Maria Predatsch was reported missing from the 2600 block of Edwards Lane in The Villages, but was later spotted driving a Hyundai Azera in Winter Park on Saturday afternoon, officials said.

Deputies said around 10:20 p.m. that Predatsch was “located safe in Marion County.”
