MELBOURNE, Fla. – The Brevard Zoo has introduced a new interactive program that will run through the rest of the summer.
Science Sundays, which will be July 7 to August 25, is an interactive program that will intertwine education and entertainment to foster curiosity and a love of science in all guests with hands-on activities and expert sessions, according to a news release.

The zoo announced this series will allow guests to “beat the heat and learn something neat!” From interactive experiences featuring exhibits on conservation and environmental science to observations of animal behavior, Science Sundays combines fun and learning in a way that everyone is sure to love.
Every Sunday will feature a different set of activities and overarching themes, including Conservation Chronicles and Bonsai & Botanicals. There will also be interactive chats held each week at 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. It is free with zoo admission and will be held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sundays in the Nyami Nyami River Lodge.
