ORLANDO, Fla. – Who runs the last-announced Halloween Horror Nights 33 house? That would be an all-female cast of Classic Universal Monsters.

Universal Studios’ 10th named house at Halloween Horror Nights is “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines.” Guests will be introduced to an all-new storyline as they find themselves in the center of the ultimate battle between the hunted and the hunters.

Fans will encounter Saskia Van Helsing, a new fearless huntress and daughter of revered Abraham Van Helsing — who killed Count Dracula by driving a stake through his heart and destroying his reign of terror.

Saskia now faces Dracula’s daughter, Countess Marya, who arose from the dead to seek revenge for her father and destroy the Van Helsing bloodline. With a mission to kill, Dracula’s daughter — from 1936′s “Dracula’s Daughter” — forms a deadly alliance with the She-Wolf, inspired by the 1946 film “She-Wolf of London,” and Anck-Su-Namun, from the 1932 film “The Mummy,” only to be intercepted by Saskia and an unlikely ally, The Bride of Frankenstein.

Behind the scenes, Emmy-nominated composer Sara Barone will create an original score for the female-led house. Barone recently served as composer for BBC’s “Planet Earth III,” along with Hans Zimmer and Jacob Shea, and Amazon’s “Silver and the Book of Dreams.”

Barone currently participates in the Universal Composers Initiative. Developed by NBCU’s Global Talent Development & Inclusion (GTDI), the two-year program gives composers access to exclusive scoring opportunities, like this year’s Halloween Horror Nights.

The announcement of the “Universal Monsters: Eternal Bloodlines” haunted house comes a month after Universal Orlando gave a first look Epic Universe’s Dark Universe, where “the most chilling ride ever” features Dr. Victoria Frankenstein, the great-great-granddaughter of Henry Frankenstein. Monsters Unchained: The Frankenstein Experiment is a celebration of Classic Universal Monsters.

Starting a bit earlier this year, scare enthusiasts will be able to experience the world’s premier Halloween event starting on Friday, Aug. 30. It will run for 48 nights through Sunday, Nov. 3.

Halloween Horror Nights 33 will include 10 haunted houses, five scare zones, and live entertainment. There’s also a new, one-night experience for guests who want to pay for smaller crowds and shorter wait times.
