ORLANDO, Fla. – A Florida man was indicted Wednesday after investigators accused him of terrorism in Orange County, newly released court documents show.

According to investigators, the man — Hashem Younis Hashem Hnaihen, 43 — left letters at a variety of places in Orange County, each of which threatened he would “explode everything here in whole America.”

The locations were:

  • June 25 — Starbucks in Orlando
  • June 25 — Starbucks in Winter Park
  • June 25 — McDonald’s in Maitland
  • June 29 — A solar power generation facility in Wedgefield

In addition, investigators said Hnaihen “did knowingly and willfully damage and attempt to damage” the energy facility’s property. However, the indictment doesn’t specify what that entailed.

Because that violation involves an allegation of terrorism, Hnaihen is required to forfeit any assets related to the offense, investigators wrote.

As a result, Hnaihen faces four counts of threatening to use an explosive, and a charge of destruction of an energy facility.
