Judge permits Regina Hill to retrieve belongings from homes of woman she’s accused of exploiting

Judge cancels Sept. 3 hearing

ORLANDO, Fla. – A judge has allowed former Orlando City Commissioner Regina Hill to get her things this weekend from the homes of a 96-year-old woman she’s accused of exploiting.

Hill, 59, asked a judge to allow her inside a home on Lewis Court and on Domino Drive to retrieve her belongings after attorneys for the woman said she could do that this weekend.

Originally, Hill was told by a judge to stay away from three homes and the woman while her criminal case moved forward.

Hill was arrested in March and accused of exploiting the woman, spending more than $100,000 of her money, as well as using the woman’s money to purchase cosmetic surgery, car insurance, and trips.

Hill was also under federal investigation for using the woman’s identity for the mortgage application for the home on Domino Drive.

News 6 also confirmed that a third home on Baywood Avenue was quit claim deeded to the elderly woman and the Arvonni House of Hope and Refuge in May.

A hearing that was set for Sept. 3 to discuss the matter has since been canceled.
