Central Florida Zoo to host sundown celebration for Hispanic Heritage Month

SANFORD, Fla. – Throughout the summer, the Central Florida Zoo and Botanical Gardens has hosted special events dedicated to cultural enrichment, and the final Sunset at the Zoo will be a celebration of Hispanic heritage.

On Friday, Sept. 27, the zoo will reopen at 5 p.m. for guests to enjoy activities such as themed storytime for kids and families, music and live entertainment, crafts, keeper chats and much more.

Several vendors and food trucks are scheduled to be in attendance, and concessions will also be available for purchase at Graze.

Tickets are $6 when purchased in advance, which is more than 70% off the price of a general admission ticket. Guests can also purchase a family 4-pack, which includes four tickets, four hot dogs, and four drinks for $44.
