SANFORD, Fla. – At 11 years old, Mason Ramsey became the youngest major label country artist signed in the genre in nearly two decades.
Now he’s 17, in his senior year of high school, and he’s also on tour debuting a new album.
It all started in 2018 at an Illinois Walmart. Ramsey was seen on camera singing “Lovesick Blues” by Hank Williams. Within a few days, that video gained more than 25 million views and he quickly became a viral sensation.
Since then, he signed onto a record label, appeared on talk shows and made appearances on the CCMA Awards, CMA Awards, CMT Music Awards and Grammy Awards.
Ramsey just released his debut album “I’ll See You In My Dreams” on Sept. 20.
He was set to be perform at Tuffy’s Music Box in Sanford on Friday, Sept. 27, as part of his Falls Into Place Tour, but had to cancel the show because of Hurricane Helene. Click here to see when the show will be rescheduled.
