‘Stranger Things’ actor stars in ‘Junie B. Jones in BOO… and I Mean It!’ at this Orlando theatre

ORLANDO, Fla. – Chelsea Talmadge, known for her role as high schooler Carol Perkins in Netflix’s “Stranger Things,” is going back to first grade.

The actor first honed her acting skills as a young performer at Orlando Family Stage and now she’s returning to show off her comedy skills.

This is the world premier of “Junie B. Jones in BOO… and I Mean It!” Playwright Allison Gregory specifically wrote the show for Orlando Family Stage. It’s an adaption of Barbara Park’s beloved books, “Junie B., First Grader Boo… and I Mean It!” and “Junie B. Jones and the Yucky Blucky Fruitcake.”

The show follows the story of first grader, Junie B., as she faces her biggest fears from Halloween. She learns lessons of bravery, resilience, different perspectives, and appreciating the little wins in life along the way.

The show is a lighthearted Halloween story, making it great for young kids and their family.
