MARION COUNTY, Fla. – Several little kittens are headed to foster care after being rescued by Marion County firefighters.

The three kittens were trapped inside of a car but are now said to be safe and sound at Marion County Animal Services after being saved Thursday by firefighters who reportedly sprang into action to help the driver.

Photos shared to social media by Marion County Fire Rescue show how one of the kittens is small enough to fit in a firefighter’s hand.

The kittens will be available for foster care once they’re assessed and vetted, the post states, adding interested fosters should reach out to Marion County Animal Services by calling 352-671-8700 to inquire.
