ORLANDO, Fla. – There are more than 104,000 people waiting for transplants and 65% are Black.
Thursday on Breakfast with Bridgett, organizers of an upcoming gospel concert shared how they hope their event will help raise awareness in the community.
The Gift of Gospel Concert is coming up Nov. 10 in Orlando and will feature local performances as well as others broadcasting live from several other cities.
The event will also help raise awareness about the importance of organ and tissue donation through testimonies.
Anne-Marie Wong Allen will be one donor family member sharing the story of her son, CJ, whose gifts of life saved five others.
