SANFORD, Fla. – A woman is sought in connection with a Sanford homicide that was livestreamed on social media.

Sanford police on Friday announced that Lakevia Davonna Pringle, 31, is wanted in connection to the shooting death of Lauren Ashley Martin.

According to police, Pringle was present during an altercation, which she livestreamed and could be heard encouraging Savon Chantay Tyler to continue fighting, leading to the fatal shooting of Martin.

Police said they made several attempts to interview Pringle but were unsuccessful due to her lack of cooperation.

On Friday, after further review and in consultation with the Seminole County State Attorney’s Office, a warrant was issued for Pringle for one count of principle in the first-degree to first-degree premeditated homicide.

Anyone with information about Martin’s death, or the location of Pringle, is asked to call the Sanford Police Department.

Tyler was arrested earlier this week on a charge of homicide.
