PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – In just a few years, you’ll have a thrilling new reason to hit the road west from Orlando.

Peak Surf Park, a 35-acre surf and adventure destination, is coming to Pasco County as part of the sprawling Two Rivers development. Slated to open in late 2027, this surf park promises not just waves but an entire day of fun and relaxation for all.

At the heart of Peak Surf Park will be a state-of-the-art surf lagoon powered by Australia’s Surf Lakes technology, offering perfect waves for everyone, from beginners to pros. But this park isn’t just for surfers. Imagine half a mile of sandy beaches, concert venues, fitness amenities, and a lineup of bars, restaurants, and shops—all just under two hours from downtown Orlando.

Founder Tony Miller describes Peak as more than a surf destination, saying it will be for people “seeking waves, adventure, entertainment or their ‘third’ place for community and lifestyle.”

Why it’s worth the trip

Peak Surf Park is part of the ambitious Two Rivers development, which will also feature luxury housing, a regional district park, and a private 18-hole golf course designed by renowned Scottish architect David McLay-Kidd. The mixed-use community will make the Tampa Bay area even more vibrant, offering something for everyone—from adrenaline-pumping activities to leisurely beach days.

Meanwhile, Orlando might not be far behind in joining the surf park wave. Local leaders are exploring plans for a surf park closer to home, but the project is still in its infancy. While there’s no official timeline for development, it’s an exciting possibility for the future of Central Florida recreation.
