SANFORD, Fla. – Deputies are searching for the suspect in a shooting at a Sanford neighborhood on Wednesday afternoon that left one person injured, according to the sheriff’s office.
In a release, investigators said that a report about the shooting came in just before 3 p.m. near the intersection of 18th Street and Blackston Avenue.

Deputies added that a “male” suffered non-life-threatening gunshot wounds to his arm and lower leg, and he was take to the hospital as a result.
“Still gathering information on a suspect vehicle seen leaving the area,” the release reads. “Unknown motive at this time.”
