LAKELAND, Fla. – A Florida woman is accused of threatening her insurance company by using words that were written on ammunition used in the slaying of UnitedHealthcare’s CEO last week, according to law enforcement.
Briana Boston, 42, was on the phone with BlueCross BlueShield over a denied claim when she ended the call by saying, “Delay. Deny. Depose. You people are next,” according to an affidavit.

Last week, investigators in New York found the same three words written on ammo used to kill UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson.
The affidavit said the phrase she used “references an exact phrase used during recent current events regarding the UnitedHealthcare insurance company CEO.”
When officers located Boston at her home, she admitted to using the phrase, apologized and said, “Healthcare companies played games and deserved karma from the world because they are evil.”
She told police she did not own any firearms and was not a danger to anyone.
Boston faces a charge of threats to conduct a mass shooting or an act of terrorism.
