ORLANDO, Fla. – If you want to avoid paying for priority or express shipping to ship your packages out in time for Christmas or the first night of Hanukkah, today is the day.
The U.S. Postal Service said Wednesday, Dec. 18, is the cutoff for USPS Ground Advantage and First-Class Mail service.

Those are the most affordable services to get both cards and packages mailed out for arrival by Dec. 25 within the U.S.

Thursday, Dec. 19, is the cutoff for priority mail service, and Saturday, Dec. 21, is the cutoff for express service.
