Oscar Mayer’s Wienermobile is coming to Central Florida, and you can be its next spokesperson

ORLANDO, Fla. – My hot dog has a first name, it’s O-R-L-A-N-D-O, my hot dog has a – well, that’s it, I ran out of words – but you can run out and see a piece of Americana when the famous Wienermobile visits Central Florida this month.

According to a news release, driver Coop Dawg and copilot Corndog Kait will be handing out wiener whistles at several events in Central Florida.

Be sure to ketchup with the Wienermobile at the following meat-ups in December:

  • Dec. 19: Walmart located at 550 U.S. 27 in Clermont
    • 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Dec. 20: Walmart located at 1700 South Orange Blossom Trail in Apopka
    • 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Dec. 21: Walmart located at 11250 East Colonial Drive in Orlando
    • 11 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Dec. 22: Walmart located at 16313 New Independence Parkway in Winter Garden
    • 9 a.m. until noon

You may also be able to relish the opportunity to catch the Wienermobile driving around town, as it is scheduled to be in Central Florida from Dec. 17-23.

You can also apply to be an Oscar Mayer Wienermobile spokesperson, according to Kraft Heinz officials.

If you want to be the face of the hot dog company, you can apply for the Hotdogger Program, a 12-month assignment that starts the first week of June.

If you have the hankering to be the “Customer, Consumer, and Social Media superstar that drives traffic to stores/events and is a top content contributor in all forms of media,” get off your buns, mustard up the courage and apply here.

Officials said the 12-month program includes:

  • Two weeks of immersive onboarding and relevant job training
  • Regular meetings and coaching from top Advertising, Public Relations and Social Digital teams
  • Region and partner assignments that provide professional growth and a chance to see the country – Hotdoggers will switch regions and partners halfway through their tour
  • A chance to be an active and contributing member of a team of twelve top brand ambassadors.
  • Being the face of a multi-billion-dollar brand, while acting as our trusted “boots on the ground”
  • On-going coaching and mentorship through additional staff meetings and in-field meetings.
  • Post tour opportunities/connections with Kraft Heinz and hundreds of successful alumni.

You’ll crisscross America in the Wienermobile, representing the company at more than 200 events while being a social media star and appearing on TV and radio.

The one-year gig pays $35,600 with a weekly allowance for meals and personal travel, according to the job posting.
