Attempted bank robbery on Christmas Eve sparks search in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An attempted bank robbery in Orange County on Tuesday has sparked a search for the suspect, according to the sheriff’s office.

In a release, deputies said the incident happened at a Bank of America at 4048 W. Town Center Blvd.

During the incident, the suspect demanded money from the teller before fleeing the scene, investigators added.

“Your tips can help,” the release reads. “Please take a close look at the photo and see if you recognize the robber.”

Anyone with information about the suspect’s identity is urged to call Crimeline at (800) 423-8477. Tips leading to an arrest could be eligible for a $1,000 reward.
