MELBOURNE, Fla. – Three masked individuals stole three vehicles from a rental car area at the Melbourne Orlando International Airport on Monday afternoon.
Airport officials said the incident happened at the Avis Budget quick turnaround facility area, but did not provide an exact time.

No weapons were seen and no injuries were reported, according to a news release.

Airport officials said that once Melbourne Airport Police Department officers were aware of the incident, they notified Melbourne Police Department, Brevard County Sheriff’s Office and Florida Highway Patrol.
According to the release, the rental car agency is responsible for securing the property where the theft happened.
“The airport remains secure and open,” officials said.
No other information was released.
