ORLANDO, Fla. – Despite efforts to keep going, The Hammered Lamb, a staple in Orlando’s Ivanhoe Village for 12 years, will serve its last drink this weekend.
The pub announced on Instagram that it will close its doors on Saturday, Jan. 25,with a brunch, plus a Sunset Happy Hour and Goodbye Party.

“Ultimately, as one door closes another opens. So, let’s close this chapter the only way we know how to - getting hammered while the trains pass by,” the post said.
Jason Lambert, owner of The Hammered Lamb, told News 6 last year that construction along Orange Avenue, which began in late 2023, had hurt business not just for his pub but for other businesses in Ivanhoe Village.
“In 2023 we were having a record year — busiest year we would ever had, setting monthly records — and then the construction started, and now we’re down anywhere from 30% to 50% a week from where we were last year,” he said.
It got so bad that a fundraiser was held to keep the pub going last September.
The city says the construction project, which replaced sewer lines, is now complete, but for the Hammered Lamb, the damage is apparently done.
