ORLANDO, Fla. – Wednesday is the last day to submit feedback on the proposed design of a permanent memorial at the site of the Pulse shooting.
Preliminary designs presented last month at a Pulse Memorial Advisory Council meeting feature a large welcome center, 49 columns to honor the victims who died and a multicolored glass wall symbolizing unity and remembrance.
The existing nightclub structure will be almost entirely demolished, save for one wall.

A final design concept will be presented to an architecture firm next month. Before then, a survey open through Wednesday seeks to aid the advisory council in buttoning up its proposal for the city.
The survey asks to know the following:
- How you feel about the refined design concept as a whole?
- Does it align with the committee’s vision for the memorial?
- How you feel about the way designers have depicted the various elements?
Give feedback on the design by clicking here.
The committee’s next meeting is scheduled for Feb. 4.
