ORLANDO, Fla. – Friday morning on Breakfast with Bridgett, we found out why January and February is the time to follow the path of the dragon to Legoland Florida.
Every year at this time, the park offers what’s called LEGO Ninjago Weekends on select dates where Ninjago character shows and activities take center stage, offering park visitors a different experience.
“There are seven different stops and this is like a scavenger hunt. At the end you will get a prize, so it just keeps kids very engaged and it’s truly interactive. You’re looking at some video right now showing Lloyd’s Elemental Challenge,” said Stephanie Bechara from Legoland Florida. “Amazing stunts, choreography, martial arts — actually, the coordinator for the show works closely with Jackie Chan, and if you didn’t know, Jackie Chan actually voices Master Wu!”

Special LEGO brick builds, meet-and-greets, snacks, accessories and more are at the park to discover on Ninjago Weekends.
Plus, Legoland Florida says tickets will be launching soon for the new Sea Life Florida aquarium opening on site in the spring.
There are also new experiences for the LEGO fans who want to stay overnight at the park hotels. Twenty new hotel rooms featuring DUPLO, Friends and Ninjago-themed decor are available to book.
Hard to imagine on a cold day like today with snow on the ground right now in parts of North Florida, but the park is already prepping to reopen its heated water park next month on Feb. 14!
Right now, Florida residents can score deals on season passes starting at rates of about $10 a month.
