Late night munchies spot Fat Shack to open first Brevard County location

This will be the second location to open in Florida

BREVARD COUNTY, Fla. – New Jersey based late-night restaurant chain Fat Shack announced its plans to open its second location in Florida later this year.

It will be located in Melbourne at 2447 N. Wickham Road, according to the restaurant’s website.

Fat Shack is known for its “fat sandwiches” that can come stuffed with mozzarella sticks, french fries, fried pickles, chicken fingers and jalapeno poppers.

It also serves other items such as burgers, chicken wings, philly cheesesteaks, and deep-fried Oreos, according to its menu posted on their website.

Meanwhile, the other restaurant that opened in 2022 in Florida, s in Orlando – at 12090 Collegiate Way. It is not known at this time if there are more locations planned for the Sunshine State.

The brand has also established itself as a late-night munchies spot – with some locations staying open till 3 a.m. on the weekends.

Fat Shack started 15 years ago, and it has since grown to nearly 30 restaurants across the U.S. It was also featured on the show Shark Tank in 2019 where the founder Tom Armenti and his partner inked a deal with Mark Cuban worth roughly $1.6 million.
