OCALA, Fla. – Three men have been arrested in connection to a shooting that killed a 24-year-old man in Ocala in June, according to a news release.
Ocala police said Derrick Brown Jr. was shot inside of a residence on June 23, 2024, in the 2800 block of NE 8th Terrace around 11:25 p.m.

Brown was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries, police said.
According to the release, Blayze Jurrien White, 22; Fredrick Bernard Lowe, 21; and Zayshawn Lee Lamar Webb, 18, were arrested, but police did not specify what charges each man may face.
