ORLANDO, Fla. – A man faces charges of aggravated assault and battery after police say he pulled a knife on a 7-Eleven employee.
The Orlando Police Department responded to a call around 10 p.m. Jan. 25 about an employee who was threatened with a knife at a 7-Eleven near Edgewater and West Colonial drives.

Rodney Clemons, 47, had allegedly entered the 7-Eleven to buy a drink and a cigar but became upset over the prices, according to the store employee.
Clemons pulled a knife from his backpack and threatened to kill the victim, the employee said, adding he pushed items off a nearby table and threw a bottle that struck him.

The victim’s account was corroborated by security camera footage, police said.
When officers searched the area, they reported finding a knife and cocaine in Clemons’ possession.
