‘Skeletal remains’ kickstart death investigation in Osceola County

OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – The discovery of a body in Osceola County on Wednesday kickstarted an investigation into what happened, according to the sheriff’s office.

In a release, deputies said they responded to the area of 5501 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. after being tipped off about the potential remains.

Upon arrival, they found the “skeletal remains” of a man, causing deputies to investigate how he died, the release shows.

“At this time, no foul play or criminal activity is suspected, and the decedent is tentatively identified,” the release reads. “This is an isolated and ongoing investigation.”
