ORLANDO, Fla. – Thousands will be at the Orange County Convention Center this weekend for an annual celebration of all things geek and pop culture.
MegaCon Orlando began Thursday and continues through Sunday at the North-South Concourse building along International Drive.

It’s the largest pop culture convention in the southeastern United States, combining comic books, film, television, anime, video games, tabletop games, cosplay and more.
Over 100 celebrity guests are meeting fans and signing autographs throughout the weekend as well, ranging from actors Jude Law and Matt Smith to director Ron Howard.

Fans are also bringing their A-game to create a special experience. Community groups have set up premium photo opportunities ranging from a “Star Wars” village to an area dedicated to the ‘80s film “The NeverEnding Story.”
There are also special effects and makeup demonstrations, cosplay lessons, robot and car clubs and areas for book fans.
Single-day tickets are still available. A Saturday ticket is $71 and a Sunday ticket is $62.
Passes for children ages 6-12 are $15.
