Since President Trump took office last month, a wave of immigration raids and deportations have taken place around the country.

In addition to arrests and deportations, the Trump administration has rolled back the TPS extension for hundreds of thousands of Venezuelan immigrants, raising the risk of deportation.

Venezuelans who were under protection from the 2023 TPS designation could face deportation beginning in April if they don’t have an active immigration claim in progress. The decision affects some 350,000 immigrants who came here to escape the Maduro regime.

The remaining protections are set to expire in September.
