The pair took off in a white van and later that night, deputies spotted the van running a stop sign. The deputy tried to conduct a traffic stop, but the van fled, leading to a car chase, the sheriff’s office said.
The chase ended when the van hit a barbed wire fence, but both suspects ran from the vehicle, according to deputies.
A deputy caught up to Morrison on foot, while aviation and K9 units searched for Davis, the sheriff’s office said. The helicopter found her and guided deputies to her location, eventually leading to Davis surrendering, deputies said.
Morrison faces multiple charges, including petit retail theft, aggravated fleeing and eluding a law enforcement officer.
Davis faces charges of multiple charges, including violation of probation, petit retail theft and resisting an officer without violence.
