ORLANDO, Fla. – Thunderstorms sparked heavy flight delays in Central Florida on Sunday morning, according to the Federal Aviation Administration.
The FAA announced that the storms impacted southbound flights crossing the Flow Constrained Area, with the impacts set to last between 9 a.m. and 6:59 p.m.

According to the FAA, delays are estimated to average over three hours.
In Central Florida, the Orlando International Airport reported several hours-long delays for arriving flights from places like Cleveland, Boston, and Philadelphia.
Central Florida has been forecast to see storms and windy weather on Sunday, with wind advisories in effect for counties from Orange County northward until 4 p.m.
