ORLANDO, Fla. – Monday on Breakfast With Bridgett, we previewed the 10th annual Storytelling Showcase put on by Victory Cup Initiative.
Ten nonprofit finalists will compete “Shark Tank” style for major funding based on their presentation scores from the audience.
“We bring nonprofits to the main stage in Central Florida so people, foundations, and businesses, better understand what they do, how they do it and how it makes an impact,” founder and executive director Ashley Vann said. “What that does is it expands their notoriety in the community. We teach them strategic storytelling skills, provide them with a tremendous amount of exposure in the community, create a lot of programming throughout the year so they’re able to get to know other nonprofit leaders, network, and build an eco-system of collaboration. On the other side, we provide this incredible opportunity for funders to learn about different causes and organizations and not only the causes they’re working with, but how they’re doing it in a strategic way,”
The VCI Breakfast is coming up on Feb. 25. Tickets are on sale. It’s described as “The Best Hour In Central Florida.”
