ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – An Orlando woman was arrested on Monday after a road rage shooting along Colonial Drive in December left one man dead, according to the police department.
Police initially announced that the shooting happened near the 2800 block of East Colonial Drive on the morning of Dec. 2, involving “driver hostility between two vehicles, resulting in the death of one driver.”

Detectives said they’d received 911 calls about a man on the roadway who had “been shot in the face,” and the shooter — later identified as Tina Allgeo, 47 — was still on the scene.
At the time, Jeremy Buice told News 6 that he witnessed the shooting after dropping off his brother at the Home Suite Home suites.

“I watched. I watched him get shot, and after that, I ran over there to the scene of him — because it’s right here next to my car,” Buice said. “And first of all, my first instinct is to help, but then when I realized he was shot in the head. I couldn’t help.”
According to investigators, police were able to detain Allgeo before setting up a crime scene. The victim — Mihail Tsvetkov, 42 — was later declared dead after being taken to a hospital for treatment.
In an investigative report filed last month, detectives said they were able to gather a video of what happened from one of the witnesses.
“The video... shows moments before the shooting. It shows the shooter out of her vehicle, in traffic, taking photos or videos of the decedent’s vehicle. The decedent is observed driving away from the initial incident location. The video shows the shooter following the decedent’s vehicle and purposefully striking it with her vehicle. The video then shows the decedent exit his vehicle, check for damage, and approach the driver’s side of (Allgeo's) Ford.”
Supplement Report, Orlando Police Department Homicide Unit
Police said they learned from witnesses that Tsvetkov had begun attacking Allgeo after the collision, which prompted her to fire on him.
“(A witness) explained that Mrs. Allgeo talked of an incident that occurred before the shooting,” the report reads. “(The witness) said she did not witness any of it, but learned from Mrs. Allgeo that (Tsvetkov) was tailgating her further back.”
Investigators later got ahold of red-light camera footage near the shooting scene, which showed Tsvetkov opening the door to Allgeo’s vehicle before he was shot, the report continues.
Over a week later, detectives said they received a statement from Allgeo via her attorney, in which Allgeo claimed that she confronted Tsvetkov farther down the road about tailgating her. In response, the statement claims, Tsvetkov had bumped into Allgeo’s vehicle, causing her to follow after him while calling 911.
According to Allgeo, she accidentally struck Tsvetkov’s vehicle in turn while trying to get his tag number, which resulted in him getting out of his car and attacking her, deputies explained.
Her full statement reads as follows:
“On Monday, December 2, 2024, I was driving down Colonial Dr. heading toward Bumby in the left lane. (I always take this lane since I have to turn left for work.) Another driver was riding super close to my car’s rear end. I switched lanes to let him go but he switched too and followed me still very close. I slowed down to encourage him to go around me but he didn’t. We were in the middle lane now. We come to a light and he is so close he almost hit me. I opened my door and stood by the door pointing towards our bumpers and said “get off my ass.” Then I got back in my car. He then inched closer to me again. My windows are still up. He then rolls his car into mine from behind and I felt my car jerk forward. I got out with my phone in hand to report him. I look down. I’m next to my back bumper and see his front bumper touching my back bumper. I was about to call the police when he proceeded to back away from my car, he turned his wheels towards me and then drove towards me and hit me (my body) with his car. I remember my right knee his the ground, my glasses were on his hood. I stood up and picked up my glasses and was about to call 911 when he again proceeded to try and hit me (my body) a 2nd time. I moved out of the way towards my car and he jumped into the left lane and everyone left.
I got back into my car and dialed 911 and I drove down Colonial hoping to get his tag number to report him. A few lights later I see the tag and remember it because it looked different than regular Florida tags. (maybe Connecticut-blue and white) I am still on the phone with 911 but they haven’t answered yet. I tried to jump behind him to get his license plate number and accidentally hit his car. His car was in the left lane and I was still in the middle lane. As soon as I hti him I pulled back into my lane. He then proceeded to jump into my lane in front of me. He put his car in park, got out of his car, he walked in between our cars, and then turned around and came to my door and yanked my door open, and I was so scared I peed myself. It was super quick, he then tried to pull me out of the car, and he punched me in the face over and over again. When I realized that he was hitting me over and over again I put my left arm up in front of my face to try to stop him from hitting me.
He kept on punching my face and arm over and over as hard as he could. I told him to stop, he won’t stop. My seatbelt was on the whole time. I was pinned in my car with nowhere to go, my pepper spray was not accessible. I keep my pepper spray in my driver’s side door and it was not accessible. He was inside my car and just punching me on the left side of my face and my temple. I was stretched out along the inside of my car trying to get away, with my back on my center console and my head close to the passenger seat. My left foot was out the door but not touching anything, my right foot was still inside my car where I would be driving close to the brake. From the moment he opened my door he would not stop punching me over. I begged him several times to stop during this whole situation. While I’m laying on my back I’m worried this guy is so big he might kill me with the punches. My face hurt so bad and felt like the skin was abraded and felt like it was swelling up. It freaking hurt. I remembered I had my gun. I don’t always carry my firearm with me, and I managed to get to my gun in the center console. I barely got the console up and got the gun out and unholstered the gun really quick, it was still down low and the man was still punching me in my face. I’m still laid back in my seat and I held the gun next to my chest and fired one time and then all of a sudden he wasn’t hitting me anymore. I did not give him permission to open my car door or to hit me or to enter my car. I was in fear for my life. I felt like I had no choice. I didn’t know what else to do I was so scared and in shock. It was a very frightening incident, it was a huge man punching me in the face over and over again. My body is still sore.”
Statement by Tina Allgeo
Court records show that Allgeo was ultimately arrested on Monday and faces a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
Her attorney explained that the charge stems from Allgeo following Tsvetkov and crashing into his vehicle, as she’s not charged in his death.
