Missing child alert issued for 14-year-old Florida girl

HALLANDALE BEACH, Fla. – A missing child alert was issued on Tuesday after a 14-year-old girl went missing in South Florida, according to the FDLE.

In a release, investigators announced that the girl — Jaylise Santana — was last seen near the 930 block of Southwest 8th Street in Hallandale Beach.

The release shows that Santana was last spotted wearing a black shirt, black skirt or pants, and black Crocs or sneakers.

“She may be wearing a black hoodie and a gold chain necklace that says ‘Jaylise,’ and she has a scar on her right knee,” the release reads.

In addition, investigators described Santana as standing 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing around 95 pounds, and having black hair and brown eyes.
