Sanford Porchfest brings over 70 performances. Here’s the lineup and more to expect

SANFORD, Fla. – Over 70 bands will perform in downtown Sanford this Saturday for the annual Sanford Porchfest.

The free festival runs from 11 a.m. to 7:45 p.m.

From classical to indie to Americana and blues, there will be performances on 18 porches throughout the day.

“Built entirely on goodwill; from the organizers, artists, and homeowners - all of the proceeds from the festival (collected through donations, sponsorships, and merchandise sales) are returned to the community in the form of funding performing art programming for youth and awarding fine-art scholarships through various beneficiaries,” the event’s website reads.

There will be trolleys available that will run throughout the event with 11 stops at parking lots or festival entry points.

According to the event’s website, four women — Nancy, Shana, Kim and Shelly — started the Sanford Porchfest Corporation “to create an unforgettable experience for their city.”

“They refer to Sanford Porchfest as an event FOR the community, BY the community, tirelessly donating their time and attention to bringing Sanford Porchfest to life year after year,” the website reads.
