OCALA, Fla. – A 62-year-old Ocala man who coaches youth sports and helps run a children’s sports and entertainment business has been arrested on sex charges, and police are worried there could be more victims.
Richard Hawkins, 62, was arrested Sunday in Marion County.

Ocala police said a 16-year-old boy reported an incident in which he stayed at Hawkins' apartment and woke up to find himself in Hawkins' bed in a compromising position. When the teen tried to leave the apartment, police say Hawkins' tried to block the front door.
The victim told his father, who called Hawkins, according to police. The father told police that Hawkins admitted to the incident.
Hawkins was arrested on charges of indecent, lewd or lascivious touching of a minor, false imprisonment and open carry of a firearm.
Police said that in addition to coaching youth sports, Hawkins is part-owner of an Ocala business that coordinates children’s entertainment and sports activities.
