According to the Florida Highway Patrol, Thompson was driving under the influence with a 9-year-old girl as passenger in his pickup truck when he crashed into a motorcycle waiting to make a turn on State Road 46 in Geneva. The driver and passenger on the bike, Richard Mills and Joanne Talley, were killed.
Days after the crash, Thompson was arrested again for violating conditions of his bond after witnesses say they saw Thompson buying beer twice since his arrest.
The plea deal calls for 15 years in prison followed by 15 years of probation, and permanent driver license revocation during probation.
The sentencing hearing is set for 9 a.m.
