OSCEOLA COUNTY, Fla. – Investigators have renewed their push for clues decades after the discovery of a woman’s remains in Kissimmee, according to the police department.
In a release on Monday, deputies said that this month marks the 21st anniversary of Kelly Ann Balderas’ death.

The release shows that on March 6, 2004, officers responded to the Breeze Inn Motel along East Vine Street after receiving reports about an “unresponsive woman.”
Upon arrival at Room 116, officers found the body of Balderas, who was 22 years old at the time. Detectives said they were able to uncover signs of “foul play,” prompting a homicide investigation.

“Despite extensive investigative efforts over the years, Kelly’s murder remains unsolved,” the release reads.
As such, police are once again asking members of the public to come forward with any information that could help to solve the case.

Alternatively, tips can be made via Crimeline by calling (800) 423-8477. A reward of up to $5,000 is offered for any information that leads to an arrest or resolution of the case.
