2 arrested after deadly shooting, vehicle crash in Orlando leaves 1 dead, 1 injured

ORLANDO, Fla. – Two men have been arrested after a deadly shooting over the weekend led to a crash with one injured and another dead, according to a news release from the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies responded to the South John Young Parkway and Oak Ridge Road around 8:30 p.m. on Sunday, where they found a man and a woman in a vehicle crash, both of whom were shot, deputies said.

The man, Edson Gordiano, 19, was taken to the hospital where he died from his injuries. The woman, who deputies did not identify, was taken to the hospital as well and has non life-threatening injuries.

Deputies arrested David Germosen, 21, on a charge of second-degree murder and Jasmyah Gabriel Estrada, 18, on a charge of felony murder third degree, the sheriff’s office said.

No additional information has been released at this time, the release stated.
