MARION COUNTY, Fla. – A man and two juveniles face charges after deputies said they drove a person to a park in Marion County where they beat and robbed the victim, according to a news release.
Deputies said that on Feb. 26 the two juveniles – 16-year-old Ajihais Mackievion Williams and 17-year-old Eron Ka’reem Thomas – drove the victim to a park near the Silver Springs Shores Country Club on Silver Pass in Ocala to meet with 18-year-old Jeremiah Arzavius Smith.

According to the release, Thomas and Williams distracted the victim while Smith struck the victim with a firearm, “causing serious bodily harm.”

Deputies said the three continued to beat the victim, eventually robbing them of their possessions, before leaving the person without assistance.
The victim was able to get help from someone nearby, according to the release.
Deputies said during their investigation, they discovered the three suspects were affiliated with the “Getlow” gang from the Silver Springs Shores area.
“This affiliation will be subject to sentencing enhancements per Florida State Statute 874.04,” the release stated.
Thomas and Williams will face charges as adults and are currently being held at the Marion County jail without bond, according to the release.
Smith was arrested on Friday and taken to the Marion County jail where he is also being held without bond.
All three suspects face charges of robbery with a firearm and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.
